A Perimenopause Field Guide
Perimenopause. The word itself doesn't go very far in explaining what perimenopause actually is, and more than that, what you as an individual human might experience.
And SHOCKER, women's health has not exactly been at the top of the list of things to research. And on top of that, women with ADHD? You are last on the how does perimenopause affect women research list.
But there is a whole wave of women, with real lived experience, whose voices are starting to get louder. Much of what they experience has not made it into a medical journal yet, but their lived experience is real!
Maybe you hear umbrella terms used, Brain Fog, Anxiety, Fatigue, Rage, and have trouble relating to them, because what you actually feel is "I just don't feel like myself anymore" or "I can't face simple tasks" or you have no idea why your standing there watching every ADHD system you have spent your entire life building just… collapse.

I'm a woman who was blindsided by this, who had to fight to be taken seriously, and who decided to put everything she found out in one place, so you don't have to fight as hard as I did.
